Q: Is there an extra fee if I bring my hunting dogs?

A: You are welcome to bring your dog for an additional fee of $50 per dog if they stay inside the cabin. If you bring kennels and the dog(s) stay outside, there is no additional fee.  

Q: As a first-time hunter at Quailridge, what equipment and clothing should I bring?

A: You will need boots for wet and dry terrain, a shooting vest to carry shells, briar pants or snake chaps, a raincoat, a high-visibility shirt or vest, layered clothing to accommodate the weather, and ear protection.  
Many items are sold in our Pro-shop.  

Q: What types of hunts are available at Quailridge?

A: We offer bob-white quail and deer hunts.  

Q: Do I need to bring ammunition?

A: Quailridge does offer ammunition for purchase (see our rate page), or you can provide your own.    

Q: Do I need a hunting license to hunt at Quailridge?

A: We offer a shooting preserve license for quail, and a deer hunting license can be obtained at Go Outdoors Georgia

Q: What amenities are included with my stay?

A: Each cabin has a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, and hotplate. Disposable plates, napkins, and cups are provided.    

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?

A: Quailridge doesn’t sell alcohol, so feel free to bring your own.
